Dear Parents,
Your son/daughter has shown interest in traveling to Annapolis for the Chesapeake Regional Robotics Competition. This is a great opportunity. The team will travel to Annapolis by bus on Wednesday March 18, following the end of the school day. When the team arrives at the Loews Hotel in Annapolis, they will dine at Buddy’s, which has become one of the team’s more favorite restaurants. On Thursday, finding food is up to each individual. It’s not a difficult task at all. Many students grab breakfast at the bakery in the hotel, lunch around town, and dinner from a local pizza shop. On Friday, breakfast and lunch will follow the same procedures as Thursday, but on Friday night, the team has a special dinner at Maria’s Italian Restaurant. All family members of students are invited to this dinner. The competition will end on Saturday, March 21, and from that point the students will pack up the robot and all its parts, and then head home via bus or parents.
Payment Breakdown:
Room = $200
Buddy’s and Maria’s dinners = $100
Total = $300
The first payment is due on Friday, January 23, the second on Friday, February 20, and the third on Friday, March 13. Each payment is $100.
There will be an important parent meeting on Saturday, February 7 at 3 pm at CTDI. It is require that at least one parent is in attendance.
